With more than 30.000 CD`s sold, they retain the roots and soul of the genre but brings a completely new approach and vision.@ A quintet of young musicians, in 2004, formed the contemporary Tango band VIOLENTANGO, with a mutual desire to reinterpret classical tango forms with a vibrant modern twist. The band deliver an energetic approach through their improvisations of traditional tango themes like "Barceluna" and "Menos Sol", reflecting a detailed search for new sounds and rhythms. With arrangements like "Libertango" or "A Fuego Lento" a distinctive flair shows their inherent sense of creativity, performed with authority and skillfull musicianship.
