There are at least 2 bands named Violencia. 1) Violencia is a powerviolence band from Tijuana, Mexico. https://violenciahc.bandcamp.com/ 2) Punk band from Carlsbad, California, formed in 2003. Mantaining a DIY, ethic, they produced their first demo in 2004 featuring 3 original songs (A/D/C, Three-Sided Window, and National Tantrum), which also had a live recording of National Tantrum -a punkrock Anthem and all around catchy tune. Melodic and sincere, they continued writing and experimenting. In 2005, they began work on a second demo, which turned into a full length 10-song live demo, titled Eternally Preserved. However, early in the process, they lost their drummer. The three-piece decided to continue with the project and finished it later that year without drums. In early 2006, they began their second full length, which they intended to completely mix and reveal their true potential. It was even arranged that their original drummer would be borrowed for drum tracks. However, the band parted ways after the recording of just three songs. Of these, only one was completed -a local success- titled A Very Violent Christmas. In July of 2006, the four founding members got together for a session and ideas of re-recording the first demo and even finishing the abandoned project (Tastes Like Water, Goes Down Like Sarcasm) were tossed about. There has been no news thus far, however, and hopes of any reformation of the original members look grim. Vocals: Jeff Seaton Guitar: Matty Panick
