Violence of the Sun was born at the late 2014 summer as a fruit of cooperation between the two Italian musicians: drummer Mattia Maiorani and the guitarist Andrea El Khaloufi. They started as a duo, but after a few jams together they decided to incorporate two more members: the second guitarist Gianluigi Di Giacomo and the bass player Francesco Pacifici. Their first EP, named "Witchfuzz", was created by the end of 2014. Its 4 tracks briefly presented band's desired style, based thoroughly on fuzzy & groovy guitar riffs. During the first half o 2015, another EP was born. "Wasteland" shown band's steady growth into more psychedelic, doomy and experimental sounds. Third EP, "Black April", settled the score, presenting more evolutions in Violence's sound and ending the extended plays trillogy, later gathered together as the band's first LP: "III Times". Although still independent and without any music label, Violence of the Sun carried over into another ventures, deploying "Perceptionism" on the 15 of july 2016. Consisting of 7 tracks and distributed freely on the band's Bandcamp site, the LP proved the extreme variety in Violence's work.
