Vinh Khuat is a German-Vietnamese male singer, songwriter, and music producer, born on March 20, 1990, in Hanoi. He moved to Hamelin, Germany, at the age of 1. He gained recognition in his home country after his solo performance at the Gala Sao Mai 2019, where he showcased his original song Quá lâu. Vinh Khuất's full name is Khuất Duy Vinh, and he hails from a family with a musical background. He follows the "one man band" model (looping), where he independently arranges music, plays various instruments such as piano, saxophone, 'đàn tranh', 'đàn bầu', engages in beatboxing, sings, and raps while performing his self-composed songs. His compositions are in English and German, and he translates them into Vietnamese. Vinh pursued Jazz music studies in Germany and also delved into traditional Vietnamese music under the guidance of Võ Thúy Hà, a lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts during her tour in Germany.
