There are at least three artists with the name Village. 1. A house music producer from Romania 2. A band from Chicago 3. A dream-pop band from Vancouver, BC 4. A doom metal band from outside Philadelphia 1. ViLLΛGE, real name Valentin Dragomir, is a electronic music producer from Romania. He has released music since 2012 with his 2012 release "Takeover" being a big hit on Soundcloud, as well as numerous uploads on popular channels including Majestic Casual, UKF and Eton Messy. Having cut his teeth on the underground scene for a couple of years he’s emerged in 2015 releasing his first track on an international label with ‘The Touch’, released via French imprint Kitsuné. His style is anchored around chill electronica, with swelling pads and thumping kicks playing around ethereal, pop inspired vocals. As far as remixes go, the artist has a wide palette of official and unofficial flips which amassed millions of plays across all streaming platforms as well as attention from producers such as Diplo, Cashmere Cat and Odesza. 2. Village is a Chicago band led by Stephen Ucherek, former front man of garage rock act The Living Blue. After that band disbanded in early 2009, Ucherek began recording new songs with Jacob Portrait, Brian Reedy, Alexsandar Babic and Benjamin Ucherek under the Village moniker. The band's style mixes pop, rock, psych, and folk, with an emphasis on hooks, solid rhythms, jangly guitars, and Ucherek's distinctive vocals. 3. Village is a dream-pop/lo-fi band
