Viktor Séthy studied 12 years on piano (starting with 10 years of classical, finally switching to jazz after a serious left elbow injurie). Got accepted by Berklee School of music at age 16 (in 1984), but he left Hungary 4 years later because of some political reasons.Ended up as a homeless in New York City in November 1988. Next year he formed a band named P.G.Q. with a Hungarian guitarist Paul Golenya and well known sax player Bob Magnuson. He became the member of the Rockland County's Jazz and Blues Society, lead by Eric Schapperd. He moved back to Hungary by 1993. Besides being a musician he is also involved in all source of arts - as writing and designs. Giving mostly improvised solo gigs on piano,organ,or guitar,and teaching at the mean time. Recently he is working on his 12th CD.
