Viberider is an alternative rock band from Sittard, The Netherlands. Originally formed in the mid 1990s, Viberider was reformed in 2006 to release their debut album, "Evolve The Long Lead". Within a year after its release, Viberider played the Pinkpop festival to critical acclaim, as well as loads of other Dutch festivals. In early 2009, a 10" vinyl EP was released, containing re-recordings of early Viberider songs - the oldest dating back to 1995. Currently the band is working on new material. Thick and heavy riffs, reminiscent of and probably influenced by some of the great stoner grunge groups, such as Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age, Celestial Season, and Los Natas, but with a clarity in their songs that keeps you focused and aware of their musicianship, with songs that pound you into the ground and float you in the sky at the same time.
