Via the Sun. What can be said about this creative and interesting group of songwriters from the often gray, blue collar Cleveland area? Anything you want. Via the Sun writes rock songs. Period. No filler, no fluff. Hard rocking, catchy hooks that prove rock isn't dead. Not that the group are crusaders, but already branded by peers and fans alike Via the Sun is ready to carry the flag of rock into battle. In the past year alone the guys have written and recorded almost 5 albums of material... with so much ease they almost can't believe it themselves. "I've never found a group of guys so much on the same page as myself that, as silly as it may sound, I have to pinch myself to make sure it's really happening" says Derek Hatfield.
