Veracious Mind was founded in 2007 in Oulu. The original line-up featured Juuso Mäkinen, Tuomas Alfthan, Markus Airaksinen and Petteri Kuivala. Veracious Mind’s first EP “Disposal” was recorded in June 2007. Bassist Markus Airaksinen left Veracious Mind in summer 2008. Thereafter Aake Lämsä joined the band on bass. The second demo Again was recorded in October 2008 and it received some airplay. Lauri Pekkarinen joined Veracious Mind to play percussion at Christmas 2008. After a long period of rehearsing and intensive gigging all over Finland the band started to gain attention in the local music circles, especially among the young people. The band decided to create their new demo all by themselves. The new self-titled record includes four masterpieces that represent the present musical style of Veracious Mind.
