Guys started to play as quartet under new name: VENUS VEINS (name of the band was taken from one of the Rusty Nail songs), In the beginning of 2011 Mkrtchan, bass guitar player, leaves the band, dedicating the rest of his life to family and career. Band decided to keep on playing as a trio with no bass guitar. December, 2011: bass guitar player Ivan Lagutkin (ex-member of St. P. brit-pop band MAJOR TOM) joins VENUS VEINS Army. Nowadays VENUS VEINS work on their long-awaited debut album. Date of release about to be announced shortly. Influences: 90's Seattle rock, A Perfect Circle, NIN, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Future Of The Left, QOTSA, Clutch, Ongkara and so on.
