VENE is a noise rock band from Oulu, Finland. What started as a side project somehow became a "real" full-time band sometime around 2005. The band's music is influenced by bands such as Radiopuhelimet, Nirvana, Fun, Hero Dishonest, The Wipers etc. Their second "full length" (about 25 minutes of music) album "Ihmisten naamaan" will be released on April 2009 by Psychedelica records.
