Velox Music (pronounced “WAY-locks Mu-sic" as it comes from the original Latin word of Velox) means; quick, rapid, swift or fast. Velox delivers a spawning breed of industrial resurgence using elements of EDM and brackish gritty beats. Imagine spitting glitchy tar over dirty breaks while swarming across a strobe-lit Goth rave floor. The pounding rhythms found in Velox Music's songs, hammers from slow to hard, then quickly steers in an entirely waning groove of super charged melody. Vocally it uses trapped emotions to lacerate through the mechanical shells of its listeners about pain, distrust, addiction, and love. Velox’s live show is a purely dark organic display of visual art flowing with each and every note coming from the speakers. Main vocalist and creator, Slade Templeton, has a definitive staple on electronic and industrial sounds. Along with Mike D, Velox redefines industrial music in the rapidly evolving state of electronic music we see and hear today. Velox Music has already had a massive first release with two remixes of “Spit or Swallow” and “Looking for Strange” landing on KMFDM’s album “Brimborium” on Metropolis Records/KMFDM Records in 2008. Velox Music's Debut LP titled "When All Is Lost" is available now via The Electric Label User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
