Musical alchemists VELOFAX fuse elements of experimental kraut-rocking disco grooves with prog technicality. The band originates from Jersey, France and London. With the force generated by this heady geographical cocktail they are able to coax the manifestation of a parallel universe out of their instruments! Many have fallen under the spell cast by their sonic gymnastics, including Radio 1’s Steve Lamacq, Xfm's John Kennedy, Resonance FM and London record stores Rough Trade and Sounds of the Universe. Since invading London they have gigged at the city's best venues including The Luminaire, The Old Blue Last, The Barfly and 93 Feet East. Their energetic live shows and growing reputation have led to support slots with New Young Pony Club, Clor and most recently with Norwegian superstars Datarock on their UK tour.
