VELDE is a four-piece alternative rock band from Tokyo, Japan. The band was formed in 2014 by vocalist YUTARO, guitarist Shunsuke, bassist Yamashii and drummer Yusuke. VELDE incorporate sounds influenced by 90s and 00s rock, grunge, emo and electro. Each member brings their own influences to create a diverse range of songs. They primarily focus on live performances, with over 30 tours from Hokkaido to Okinawa in the past. VELDE hosted 「DETERMINATION FEST.」 where they invited 24 bands across three venues in Shibuya. In April 2023, VELDE announced on their Instagram that guitarist Shunsuke and bassist Yamashii would leave the band, resulting in a band hiatus from July 2023.
