Velardiniello (fl. 1537) was a popular Neapolitan singer and composer. An early directory of typical Neapolitan festivities provided by the anonymous "Storia de cient'anno arreto" is attributed to Velardiniello. The first known collection of villanella, the Canzoni Villanesche alla Napoletana published in 1537, is attributed to Velardiniello.
