Taking inspiration from the early nineties big beat era where he honed his electronic production and mixing this with a classically trained background, Variac.4 manages to concoct electronica gonewrongica in magnificent proportions. Marrying unpredictable arrangements, chopped-up drum loops, wacky (but incredibly memorable) hooks he creates a hugely distinctive sound that will draw you back time and time again.
