There are two bands that have gone under the name Vargavinter. 1. Vargavinter was a Swedish black metal band that formed in 1992. They released one album through the German label Invasion Records in 1996 before splitting up after the bankrupcy of the label. 2. A folk-rock band from Sweden, featuring Annita Livs and members of Iskra, Spjärnsvallet, Archimedes Badkar, Kofia, amongst others. Combining traditional European folk with eastern influences.
