Knowing each other from the album 666 by Aphrodite's Child, where Irene sang the song Infinity, the two eventually teamed up in 1978 to record the album Odes (released 1979). They later re-teamed, yet though most of the album was composed by 1982, they didn't get back into the studio until 1986, when they finally recorded Rapsodies (Ραψωδιές).
