There is two bands called Vandal X: 1.) Vandal X is known since year 1994 as a 2 man-noisegenerating-army from Belgium. File under noise-hardcore-drone- Vandal X is a two-piece band with the volume and power of a Russian Soyuz Missile being launched in your backyard. They have often been compared with the likes of Shellac, Unsane, Helmet, Today is the day. In the ten years of their career Bart T and Günther L have played with Fugazi, Tomahawk, Girls against Boys, Sonic Youth, Trans Am, Unsane, Barkmarket and alec Empire. Vandal X recorded their first album “Little Man’s Blues” with the help of Mauro Pawlowski back in 1997, after working with Steve Albini on “Songs From the Heart” and recording the “13 Basic Hatetracks” - album they built their own studio called “Louder Than Anyone”, located in the rural heart of Belgium and custom built for Vandal X’s monstrous sound they’ll never leave the homestudio again or return to working with any “professionals” . “Two Man Army” was the first album which Vandal X produced, engineered, recorded, and mixed whenever they felt like working, it braught them to South Africa where they played to scared audiences. In 2007 "Instant Dislike" was released on Vlas Vegas Records, it was their heaviest record yet. In november 2008 "All Lined Up Against the Wall" is gonna come out, again on Vlas Vegas.
