Vamos from Ireland Andre (Drums) Vinny (Bass & vocals) Tom (Guitar & vocals) Vamos are a three-piece rock band from Ireland. The band was formed by Tom in 1999 in Liverpool, England after hearing John Peel play The Hitchers and pledging the rest of his life to music. The band went through many line-up changes through the years in Liverpool while playing many venues and their self-run gigs which ran weekly. They met many interesting people and did an Irish tour with Ella Guru and released a single with them. In 2003 Tom moved to Ireland to start up Vamos with his brother Vinny. Once they found Keith who had been trained how to play a drum kit, they were ready to start the ball rolling again. They are currently arranging and playing their own gigs in Galway with various jaunts up and down the nation for other performances. They recorded their self-titled debut album (http://deadmonkeyrecords.com/images/Album%20Front%28low%20q%29.jpg) in Liverpool which was released November 2005 on Dead Monkey Records. However, as has always been the case with Vamos, the band went into a state of flux after releasing the album. Consequently Keith left and now Andre fills his seat. Armed with this debut album they intend to achieve recognition in the music scene for what they have created and will hopefully create much much more in the near future
