Valev Laube is a contemporary folk musician, mostly performing his original music in the United States and Europe. Born in Northern Europe, Estonia, he learned both classical as well as Estonian, Finnish and Swedish folk music. In addition to classical music education in different institutions, folk music workshops, youth exchange projects and international music festivals have inspired him to be drafted and record many of his now well know tunes. Through performing and participating in various projects this young artist has been able to gather inspiration from Scandinavia, Estonia, Finnish, Russian, Polish, English, and French music.
