Born in California, raised in Delaware, Valerie has traveled the world spending her younger years in Newmarket England, a stone's throw away from musically rich London. She has earned a living as one of the top session singers in Los Angeles by recording and touring with vocal greats Gladys Knight, Earth, Wind and Fire, Toni Braxton, Chaka Khan and jazz standard crooner, Steve Tyrell. Her film, television and commercial work includes several projects for Disney, Pepsi, Infiniti, and Coke. Valerie wrote two songs which received Gold status as a Pop/R&B tune. This includes "Typical Relationship" written for the hit movie soundtrack Deep Cover starring Laurence Fishburne and Jeff Goldblum. Valerie also wrote the first single "Till You Come Back to Me" for jazz artist Rachelle Ferell.
