Artist
Valerie Carr was a doo-wop / jazz / 'nightclub' / R&B singer from New York, NY, United States, born in 1936. She had a four-year recording career with the Roulette label, where she made several 45s and two LPs. Her single 'When The Boys Talk About The Girls' was a crossover pop hit, which even charted in Great Britain on Columbia. She re-appeared in 1964 on the bluesier Atlas label, where she recorded a few tracks in a rockier blues style, including 'Rockin' Bed' (1964).
