In 2005, Valerian Swing was formed unknowingly, and perhaps even unwillingly, as an instrumental trio in the humble little village of Correggio by Stefano Villani, Davìd Ferretti and Alan Ferioli. Not even a year later, with the inclusion of Johnatan and Davide on vocals and potentially more, the now non-trio recorded an EP of four tracks at Fear Studio in Ravenna. Thanks to excellent reviews and explosive live shows, Valerian Swing, an "under twenty" band, has been playing around northern Italy and sharing the stage with established Italian underground groups. Now, thanks to the EP and is rather risky tones, there is a new opportunity on their horizon: to work with Alkemist-Fanatix Europe, a management company run by Carlo Bellotti (of gf93). Bellotti's support has also been fundamental in reaching an agreement with RisingWorks for the production of Valerian Swing's first-time full-length release. However, problems arose when the two vocalists were not available and the group returned to being a trio right at the very moment they were writing the songs for the new release. The eight musical pieces, which range from free and crazy jazz to wildly undisciplined mathcore, passing through indie, prog, pop, hard-core and much more, have now been sensitively and successfully interpreted by Raffaele Marchetti, who in only three months has entered into a perfect symbiosis with Valerian Swing's paranoiac instrumentals during the creation their second release "Draining Planning for Ea
