"The music is usually characterized but not limited to ever-shifting series of drones by buried, but clearly audible tonalities, often founded on or formed from muted blasts of white noise. Most of the sounds emphasize harmonic structures and their counterpoint. One perceives sensations of both the daunting, eerie terrain of unexplored deep forest excavation, yet the music also lends itself a comforting candlelit familiarity."
