Vaginaville was formed in 2000 in New York, New York when roommates Ben Taoki and John Miller watched David Letterman one night and saw the musical guests doing some cool stuff with the synth and a bass and they decided they wanted to do that too, and went to a yard sale to do it too. They forgot about it the next day and after September 11th they decided to make music with their debut album "The American Deserved What Happened To Them!". They played shows in and around New York until March 13th, 2003 when after a show went horrifically wrong they decided to retire from performing live and decided to become a studio-only band.
