Hailing from Budapest, Voodoo Allen is one of the oldest Hungarian psychobilly bands. Taken by the first wave of psychobilly in the '80s, the band was formed by four schoolmates, who found common ground in having the same interests such as horror-films, all sorts of deviant behaviour and wrecking and ruining every party they had the glamour of attending. The band, a firm follower of the oldschool psychobilly genre with some punk and garage also thrown in for good measure, have recently played with bands such as the Quakes, Washington Dead Cats and Rezurex. Having recorded a demo in 2007, they are now working on their first full length album and may soon be coming to a club near you.
