VGR (short for “Video Game Remixes”) is an electronic artist and producer notable for creating remixes of songs that have been featured in video games; some of his most popular remixes include "Wii Shop Channel", "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Main Theme" and “Mii Channel”. He cameoed with a remix of “Something Entirely New”, a track from the animated series Steven Universe, on March 8th, 2016. Throughout the late-2010's and early-2020's, he continued to release remixes of tracks. In 2021, he created an album of holiday remixes of songs notable for being on Cartoon Network, of which they were featured on HBO, and in 2022, he released his first (Bandcamp-exclusive) album Life’s A Beach.
