Vexxille (musician) Vexxille is an American independent musician, producer, and recording artist known for blending elements of darkwave, emo rap, industrial, and alternative electronic music. Emerging in the late 2010s, Vexxille gained recognition in the underground music scene for emotionally raw lyrics and genre-crossing production. He is also the founder of the creative collective 5150 SYNDICATE. Early life Kaleb Rasmussen, Professionally known as Vexxille, was born in Payson, Utah. Vexxille's family struggled through financial hardship most of his childhood life. Following the birth of his brother Sawyer Rasmussen in 2001, his parents moved them to a small house in the mountains of Heber City, Utah. Through his adolescent life and young teenage years, him and his brother struggled under an alcoholic father and violence. Vexxille struggled in school, and with other children, struggling to make friends. And through development took on the role of an outcast. The struggles at home and in social scenarios led both him and his brother to delinquency and inevitably drug use and issues with the law. At 18 he left home. And with leaving his younger brother with the problems at home, this led to his brothers first attempt at suicide from a Xanax overdose at 15. Surviving it, later the next year, Sawyer took on felony charges for breaking and entering and robbery at the age of 16.
