Verbian, the band of Alexandre Silva (bass, synthesizers and vocals), Filipe Romariz (drums, samples and vocals) and Vasco Reis (guitar, synthesizers and vocals) has just released its second album, Irruption, published by the Italian Antigony Records. On the one hand, the result of accumulated experience, in life and in music. On the other, this internal and intense eruption, until catharsis, on a journey through the unknown and our secrets, to encounter ourselves and our place. They were born in 2017, in Porto and have embraced various musical languages, creating a dense sound, between instrumental rock, post hardcore, post metal and some doom. VERBIAN are an almost instrumental trio born in the city of Porto. They are characterized by their unique layers and progressive sound, resulting from the influence of various musical languages including prog-rock, post-metal and even some doom, doing so in a very fresh and original way, without worrying about genre labels. Throughout their repertoire, including new songs, they alternate between a myriad of soundscapes, using heavy, epic riffs to shake your head, synths, samples and electronics to lift you off the ground, and also catchy rhythms and melodies to give us a dance.
