Artist
V.K. Lynne was raised in Pennsylvania Dutch country, then moved with her guitar to Philadelphia- that combination of 'earthy' and 'edgy' permeated her writing, and now radiates through her rootsy, blues rock style. Her first release, The Key of V., became her calling card, along with the review it received: "...a breath of fresh air against our stagnant local rock scene...β -Promethean Crusade Magazine Once in L.A., she became the saucy blond frontwoman for music scene staple Monogroove, and played with the band long enough for Music Connection to declare: "Following V.'s lead, Monogroove comes out of the gates running and rarely lets up...this five piece blurs the lines between modern country, pop and rock, with the emphasis on rock..." -LA. Music Connection Magazine Now solo, her new CD, Black Halo, is getting attention from fans and industry alike, as well as charitable organizations. A firm believer in artistic responsibility, V.K. donates a portion of all record sales to a deserving non-profit. She has worked with Hearts Giving Hope, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and currently with N Rock United.
