1) Völva is a stoner/doom band from Akureyri, Iceland. Völva was foundin in October-November 2008. The band members change their instruments between songs so the band has many different characters. The band focuses on spiritual subjects and alternative religions. The band members are all practicing pagans and that often has a clear effect on their songs' theme. their first full length album "völva" was published 27.august 2010 under the label of M.B.S skífur. There second album Visdómur Risans came out as a split with Hindurvættir on the 20/01/12 free of charge on the internet and is available on lastfm.
