The Used Blues Band is from Gainesville, Florida,and was active from 2002-2010. It was formed and led by bassist and vocalist Butch Wise. The most famous lineup of the band was Alan Yeatter on guitar/vocals, Gus Olmos on harmonica, Rick Wagner on drums, and Wise on bass and vocals, which was active from 2005-2010. They were known for fusing the electric Blues formula with rock, soul and traditional delta sounds, and bringing the party atmosphere to the Blues. After releasing its 2009 album Deep Down in Florida, they were the winner of the 2010 Independent Music Awards Blues Song category for their composition "Palm Reader Blues".
