New on the Venice-based Morphine Records comes this debut release from Upperground Orchestra, whose astronomically themed techno has been recorded live, giving a kind of sprawling, freeform feel. Further compounding this, a saxophonist steps in during the latter half of the production, which maintains the organic feel whilst doffing a proverbial cap towards Vangelis' Blade Runner soundtrack. After the creamy synth strings of 'Orion 419', Ra. H weighs in with a remix of the A-side, vulcanising the production with dubby, delayed stabs and more urgent beats.
