Unquiet Nights are a rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The project began in 2005 as a solo moniker for guitarist and singer Luke Mathers, who released songs under the name Unquiet Nights. The act became a full band in 2010 when drummer Rodger Firmin joined. Their debut album, "21st Century Redemption Songs", was released in 2012 and received airplay on UK national radio, particularly for the tracks "Shoulda Said Something", "Someone's Love on Drugs", and "Burning the Tracks". Following the album’s release, the band toured extensively across nine countries, performing headline shows in Belfast and supporting acts such as Bloc Party at Scala in London and Toploader at Kasbah in Coventry. In 2015, Unquiet Nights released their second album, "Postcards in Real Time", with Francesco Piciucchi joining on keyboards and bass. Singles from the album included "Love Leave Your Mark on Me" and "Constellations of She", while "George Best City" brought the band wider attention. The song was featured in several Italian documentary series, including Sky Sport 1’s "Federico Buffa Racconta", leading to the band’s appearance on Sky’s "Calciomercato" in Milan and other Italian television programmes such as "Roxy Bar" with Red Ronnie in Bologna. The group subsequently released a series of standalone singles: "Promise of You" and "Young Believers" in 2018, followed by "Four Winds" in 2019.
