«Unknown Pseudoartist» is an eccentric artist with an unusual style, using mostly synth metal as a base and combining with many multiple influences both inside and outside metal, ranging from folk and orchestral to electronic and industrial. Nowadays more focused in original compositions, but formerly known for ruining video game music tunes with a funny vocal style that simulates the voice of a chocobo or bird, then also doing instrumental and serious arrangements and remixes without relying on this element. Also known as UPA, there was 4 totally different eras on their career: * Until 2020: using other people's music as base to mute the melody and replace it by their signature voice, known as "birbs" or "chocovocals". * Since 2021: UPA learnt more about actual music arranging and editing, then doing original arrangement of video game music tunes. In 2022 also collaborating with many musicians and performers from the VGM scene. * Since mid 2022: an important move from "just ruined, parody stuff" to serious stuff, often combining and alternating both. In 2023 and especially 2024 nearly all their stuff was that way, no relying on parodic versions anymore. * Since 2024: relying more on original compositions while still occasionally doing more videogame arrangements.
