The musical encounter between Antonio Jauregui and Antonio Santivañez marks the begining of UNION CINEMA, a rock band where both musicians, who come from diferent musical backgrounds, joined their personal experiences and influences to present their own musical language entwined with lyrics that describe how they percieve the world around them. This release contains their first single CAN’T GET RID OF, composed by Jauregui & Santivañez, who are the writers of all UNION CINEMA songs. The energy and explosiveness of this first single are loaded with messages that are looking to connect with an audience that is searching for new sensations. The name UNION CINEMA comes from a cinema, called Cine Union, which was located on Italia Square, a few blocks away from downtown Lima, Peru. The image of this public square makes the neighborhood look like a place where many stories took place thus inspiring the name of the band.
