Uncharted started their journey back in July 07 when the band got together from a previous band named Kers and a break of three years. Carl one of the guitarist joined the band and Uncharted was formed. Their debut single "Song for You" was lauched in the beginning of October and lead them to a BMA nomanation for Best Newcomer Award. This single was first officially launched at theit first gig which was held at Rookies 12th October and housed a large audience. In November UNcharted found out that they had been nominated for the Bay Music Awards, and used this opportunity to push their music further. They hosted another gig at Rookies to a growing number of fans and started exposing more of their material to the crowd. December was a busy month for Uncharted since they performed at the BMAs and took part in the Rookie's annual music marathon. IN the meantime the band worked very hard on producing new singles and went into recording in January 08 with Tenishia Studios. Their second single "Another Day" was launched in Febuary and gained the attention of a different audience since this song was different to their previous style. The song was softer, deeper and involved various instruments. "Another Day" reached high position on all local charts, reaching a peak on Bay Radio's charts as 11th place and obtained 1st position on Bay's local top 10 for two weeks in a row.
