UK Alien started out as the guitarist in the Alternative Rock band ZEUS. He later joined The UK States, an acoustic alternative country band based in London. Next came The Magic Museum, an experimental Jazz band with strong country and folk roots. When he moved to Amsterdam in 2011 he experimented with some solo ideas before finding his new sound, UK Alien. He began creating this new music in the summer of 2012, when he bought a Ukulele to take on holiday with him. After 3 weeks in Belgium and France having jams with street performers, beatboxers and in one case a French rapper, UK Alien fell in love with his new Ukulele. When he got back to Amsterdam he started writing his debut album as UK Alien entitled 'Tornado and the Bunker'. In only 3 months it was written and recorded, a whirlwind of brain pain, heartache and love of the Ukulele.
