Tyranahorse is a five-piece band from Vancouver, Canada. Their dual vocal melodies and live show have drawn comparisons to Siouxsie and the Banshees, The B-52’s, Talking Heads and Kate Bush. Formed in 2009, Tyranahorse embraces a variety of genres from noise, grunge, punk, blues and pop, to old country, and 80’s synth rock. In 2011 Tyranahorse placed second in Shindig – CITR radio station’s annual music competition in Vancouver – and was voted one of Vancouver’s top 10 bands by VanMusic.
