Tyler Mains (born November 17, 1990) is an American composer/experimental electronic performing artist. Tyler’s methods of creation are often lo-tech and involve the use of Max/MSP and contact microphones to produce electro-acoustic soundscapes in a live environment. Tyler grew up in Kentucky, studying violin all through high school. Composition became a primary interest during early high school and electronic improvisation soon followed.
