Originating from Tustin, he recorded at the Gold Star Recording Studio and had his songs produced by Don Ralke, (producer of Dick & Deedee’s hit single ’Mountain High’, and Jewel Aikens’ ’Birds & The Bees’). Ty had two hits, Slander and I’m A No Count, was with two major labels (Chattahoochee and Era Records), did many television appearances, and was the opening act for popular sixties American rock band, The Byrds. He also performed on the Hollywood Strip, at It’s Boss, the Trip, the Brave New World, Harmony Park, The Rendezvous, and many other night clubs during the sixties.
