There are multiple artists with this name: 1. Two Words was a nu metal/metalcore band from Marshalltown, Iowa. Forming in the 1999, it didn't take long for the band to make a name for themselves locally, getting a chance to open for several major acts throughout Iowa. The band released their Two Words demo in 2000, followed by Never, in 2003. The band's most recent release, An Evenings End came out in late 2006. In early 2007, long-time member Cody Wical left the band, leaving them without a drummer. Though they would play the annual local music festival Marshallfest with ex-Stab Corp./Infandous vocalist Mikey Steiner as a sit-in. Most of the members would go on to other projects, most notably vocalist Dustin Haunsperger, who co-founded the band The Blood Of Your Loved Ones with former Stab Corp. guitarist Jason Surratt. In 2010, the band reformed under the name As We Were. 2. Two Words is an Italian hardcore band formed in 2020. Releases include Pledge Of Allegiance (2022) and Rejoining The Forces (2023).
