Blazing from Germany's Stuttgart area this five piece delivers intense and catchy hardcore combined with amazing punkrock tunes. Turn Away was established in the year 2000 by four kids that have been friends for a long time and just wanted to play music and have a good time together. They put out their first Demo in late 2000 and soon started playing shows. They appeared on a split 7" together with Morethanever, Closeline & Opposition Of One early 2002 and after a new demo they hit the studio late 2003 to record 9 songs for an MCD called "today is the day" on “Fields Of Hope Records”. They played shows with bands like Have Heart, Insted, Comeback Kid, Burden, Agnostic Front, Walls of Jericho, Vision, Evergreen Terrace, Casey Jones, Propagandhi, Stretch Arm Strong and Just Went Black, just to name a few. In September 2006 Turn Away did a Split 7" with their longtime friends in Morethanever which was released by Lucifers Legions Records. In 2008 Turn Away put out "Ways to say it, ways to get it", which was released in March 2008 by Day By Day Recordings. You can expect 10 songs full of energy, passion and In late 2008 singer and founding member Tobi left the band due to personal reasons. But in late March 2009 Turn Away came back with new songs and a new man at the front, Daniel.
