From the sometimes gloomy, North Easterly seaside town of Hartlepool, Tuckerman (real name Tom Beach) released his debut EP 'The Weekend EP' in December 2010. The collection of short, lo-fi, acoustic demos was hailed by Yellow Peril Records as sounding "completely timeless, having a real fresh quality about them" and "a work of real beauty." Tuckerman doesn't cite any specific influences to his work but is a massive fan of Oasis, The Libertines, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan & Neil Young. Work on his first, full release is ongoing but it's expected to have more to it with Tuckerman currently experimenting with instruments such as the harmonica and the ukulele.
