Tsui consists of Mark Kraus and, sometimes, Jeff Patlingrao, Andrew Santospago, Ryan Clancy, Mike Paulo, and/or Arto Payaslian, although Kraus is the central member. After departing Jr. Corduroy, Kraus began recording in various living rooms in New York, Boston and LA. What he recorded would later become the foundation for Tsui. Kraus & co. mostly play around Brooklyn and, while their music is far from brash, demands just as much attention in its delicate, beautiful sound.
