Besides running Studio Metro I like to fool around with instruments and anything else that makes noise. You can find me on stage in bands such as Cords, Danger men, Trushkadelic, Drive By Wire, King Me and Arnhemland. As you can tell by listening to these songs, I am not interested in perfection or technique. I believe in one-takers coming straight from the soul. Therefore I never write or compose songs. When I feel something in the air I simply press the record button and see what happens. Usually I add several layers of similar lines and the strongest ones are mixed the loudest. I never care about quality of the recording (I often use cheap, battery-powered mics), unlike when I'm working for clients. If you like you can see these songs as statements towards all those musicians who are so much occupied with being perfect that they forget about making music, which is all about emotion.
