about

Truckers of Husk are a Cardiff-based math rock band. First appearing live in May 2006 as support for Lightning Bolt, the original lineup included Hywel Evans - formerly of the Brothers Grimm and infamous Welsh noisecore outfit Jarcrew (he is also credited as a songwriter for Future Of The Left) - accompanied by Dane Campbell and Todd Campbell from Cardiff band Said Mike. Playing heavily around Cardiff, the band quickly established themselves locally, and landed some fairly crucial support slots on local shows, including Future Of The Left, Truman's Water and Battles. In mid 2007, the lineup changed to include Ben (bass), Jimmy (cello) and Rhodri Thomas, former Jarcrew drummer. In 2008, they released their first EP, "Physical Education", on Cardiff label My Kung Fu. In August 2010, Kelson Mathius, former Jarcrew singer and Future Of The Left bassist announced he had joined the band.
