Troy Warren is an aspiring singer-songwriter from North Carolina who strives to illustrate moving, passionate, and relatable pop music about his experiences living in a fractured world. From playing instruments to participating in choirs/musical theatre, he gained experience in music early into his life. Years later, Troy covered music he enjoyed, learning quickly that he would rather write about his own experience. Inspired by artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Conan Gray, and Taylor Swift, Troy fell in love with songwriting during the quarantine period in 2020 and discovered that it was a route in which he could reflect on himself, his emotions, and his relationships with others. His first single, “don’t forget me”, a song focused on his increasing nostalgia and sentimentality, released July 16th, 2021. After learning more about song-writing and music, Troy Warren has released his second single “arctic waters” on October 15th, 2021, a song detailing his regrets, envy, and difficulty in decision-making. In the future, Troy aspires to release new music and create a multi-track project with more songs from his world and experiences.
