Artist
London based composer and artist, Troy Banarzi, creates conceptually inspired compositions that range from intricately entwined layers of sound, to the haunting and unearthly theatre of his twisted fairground show, "Euphonika". Banarzi has collaborated with artists including Scanner, The Generating Company and Jonathan Allen. He has worked with numerous projects across the arts from contemporary dance to art installation, film and theatre. His diverse body of works, performed at venues including London Zoo, Whitechapel Gallery and Tate Britain, include compositions with found sounds and words, melodica, toy piano, string quartets and electronics. His music also features regularly on British TV and radio (including Coast, Newsnight, Richard and Judy, and Dispatches) in an array of contemporary, historical and cross-genre styles.
